Moving Day Preparation Guide

The night before

Pack the first-night box. Charge phones. Empty the fridge. Defrost the freezer (start 48 hours earlier). Confirm crew arrival time.

Morning of the move

Eat. Hydrate. Dress comfortably. Move pets and children to a safe room or family member's house for the day.

When the crew arrives

Walk through the property. Point out fragile items. Share the floor plan for the new address. Provide ID copies if security requires them.

During the move

Stay available for questions but don't hover. Trust the crew. Keep documents, jewellery and medication with you personally.

At the destination

Direct boxes to rooms. Inspect for damage as items come off the truck. Sign the inventory only when satisfied.
